Psychotherapy services
I offer Psychoanalytic psychotherapy of both short term and long term duration, and in depth clinical work of up to four times per week. I also offer Group Analytic Psychotherapy in a once weekly group. I am available for supervision. Sessions are held in my consulting room in Wilton, 3 miles from Salisbury city centre. Please see below for the location.
What happens next?
There will be an initial assessment consultation. The purpose of this session is for you to talk about your concerns and explore whether I am the appropriate therapist for you. It is usual for the assessment process to extend across several sessions. If group therapy seems to be the way forward we would meet individually for a period of sessions first before joining the group. During the initial consultation fees will be discussed.
It is understandable to feel unsure and hesitant about seeking help. It is a big step to take. In our assessment sessions there is an opportunity for us to meet each other, explore how therapy might be helpful to you and get a feel for what therapy is like.
If you decide you would like to continue we would agree regular days and times to meet on an ongoing basis. Sometimes further sessions are required before the areas to work on come clear. If this appears to be the case, we can discuss this in the initial session and arrange a small number of individual sessions. This will give some time to allow the way forward to become apparent.

Fees will be discussed on our first contact. From £60-£75 per 50 minute session. I offer a low fee if appropriate and can let you know if I have any vacancies for this.
